Instructions for Safe Exam Browser (SEB) on your own device (en)

If you haven't installed SEB yet, you can find the installation guide here.
How to start a (demo) exam on your device:
- Open the exam course in any browser and navigate to the (demo) exam.
- Either click on "Launch Safe Exam Browser" or "Download configuration" and open it with a double-click to start SEB.
- Next, you will be asked for your TU-ID to log in.
- After logging in, you will be in the exam dashboard and can start the exam.
Notes
- Make sure you can connect to eduroam on-site. You can find a guide here
- For messages like "Page could not be loaded," click "ok."
- If the red start button is not visible, please reload the page or press F5.
- To exit the SEB, you can either use the “Exit Safe Exam Browser” button or the Quit button. For demo exams, the password is always “quit”. For exams, it is typed in by the exam administrator if required.
