You can register using the enrolment link. This registration is required for you to participate in an exam or demo exam. You only need to register once per year as the registration is system-wide for Moodle.

Second Camera in SMOWL

As explained above, use your smartphone or tablet as a second camera to monitor your exam.

Position of the Smartphone/Tablet

Position your smartphone or tablet so that your desk, monitors, and yourself are visible from the side – that is, your profile and hands should be visible. Therefore, your second camera should film you from the right or left at a slightly elevated position. Example images for positioning can be found at the following link: https://smowl.net/en/faqs-proctoring-smowl/external-monitoring/

General Notes

  • Ensure that your device for the second camera is sufficiently charged or connected to a power source.
  • Also, enable "Do Not Disturb" mode or a similar mode.
  • Never close SMOWL before submitting your exam; always close it afterward.
  • You can minimize SMOWL during the exam so that it does not disturb you.
  • If you start a program during the exam, you will receive the following message: smowl_start_13.png
  • After submitting your exam, SMOWL will ask if you have really submitted it. Simply click on "Close" or follow the instructions if you have not submitted the exam. smowl_start_15.png
  • If you do not see this instruction after submitting your exam, you can also click "End Activity" in the SMOWL application. smowl_start_11.png
